The Government of UT of Ladakh is in charge of implementing the Centrally Sponsored Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students - Ladakh 2024, an initiative of the Indian Ministry of Tribal Affairs. The program's objective is to give ST state students financial aid so they can pursue post-matriculation studies and further their education. In addition to other perks, the chosen students will receive a maintenance allowance of up to INR 1,200 per month.
Eligibility Criteria for Centrally Sponsored Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students - Ladakh 2024:
- Students need to be an Indian citizen.
- Students need to be a domicile of Ladakh.
- Students should belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) community.
- Students must be studying at the post-matriculation level in recognized institutions.
- Students should have passed matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination of a recognized university or Board of Secondary Education.
- Students should have an annual parent(s)/guardian income of not more than INR 2,00,000.
- Students must not avail themselves of benefits under any other scholarship/stipend.
Application Process:
Students need to submit an application form ONLINE only.

- A passport-size photograph of the student with the student's signature
- Academic certificates/diplomas/mark sheets
- Caste certificate duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer (RO)
- Annual family income certificate (Note:- If self-employed, an income declaration affirming definite income from all sources through an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper)
- Receipt acknowledging the scholarship in the previous year (for renewal, if applicable)
