Indigenous Accommodation Scholarship at Australia 2024

The Indigenous Relocation Scholarship (Higher Education) is designed to help Indigenous undergraduate or graduate students start or finish their degree at Swinburne by helping with moving expenses or housing fees.

Eligibility for Indigenous Accommodation Scholarship in Australia:

• The applicant must not hold or be qualified for an ICAS scholarship.
• The candidate must possess Australian citizenship
• A Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate (COA) or a certified Statutory Declaration (Stat Dec) stating that the applicant is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and/or is accepted as such by the community in which you live, or formerly lived, must be submitted with your scholarship application for the date to confirm their Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
• The candidate must be a Swinburne student starting or continuing in 2024, enrolled full-time in a course that qualifies for on-campus study. 
• The applicant must have gone through both personal and financial hardship.
• The ideal candidate would be an Indigenous person living in a rural, remote, or regional area of Australia.
• Applicants must be the first in their family to enrol in college.
