The Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics Scholarship ("the award") is an annual scholarship that the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics ("the School") may provide. The purpose of the grant is to provide financial assistance to a deserving student, either domestically or abroad, so they can pursue the Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics program given by the ANU College of Science's Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics. This scholarship is made possible by funding from the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics.
Eligibility for Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics Scholarship:
- The student should be classified as an international or domestic student
- The student must have completed at least 48 units of the Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics degree program with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 80%. The student must also be enrolled in the program at this time.
- The Commonwealth shouldn't be funding the student's degree program.
Value of the Scholarship:
Up to $20,000 ($10,000 per semester) paid over a maximum of one year of full-time study
