Details about MOE-AU Scholarship 2024-25

MOE-AU Scholarship 2024-25 is offered for Bachelors degree in the field of All subjects offered by the university. You can apply to this scholarship here. This scholarship is provided by Ministry of Education (Singapore) and the value of this scholarship is Full Funding, tuition fees + acceptance fees + other benefits . The scholarship supports young Singaporeans who demonstrate an interest and ability to pursue a career in the local autonomous universities. The scholarship includes two categories namely: Full-term Scholarship and Mid-term Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be Singapore citizens or Singapore permanent residents.
  • Applicants must be strongly interested in pursuing an academic career at one of the local autonomous universities.
  • Applicants must demonstrate superior achievement and aptitude for the academic field or subject they wish to specialize in.
  • Applicants (Full-term Scholarship) should have completed their pre-university final examinations.
  • Applicants (Mid-term Scholarship) must not have started their last year of college studies when they applied.

Application Process:

  • Eligible candidates must apply online for the scholarship.
  • The candidates should indicate “Academia” as one of their career choices in the application form.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • Selected candidates can avail of the following benefits:
    • All tuition and compulsory fees.
    • Acceptance fees are paid to the institution of study.
    • Maintenance and other allowances.
    • Visa application and immigration-related fees (if applicable).
    • Economy airfare (for scholars pursuing studies overseas), based on the paired AU’s travel guidelines, is in a combination of a one-way ticket for the commencement of undergraduate studies and a one-way ticket after graduation from undergraduate studies.
    • Sponsorship for overseas field trips, immersion programs, or summer school courses approved by MOE and the paired AU.
    • Sponsorship for one overseas exchange program (for scholars studying at a local institution).

Note: Upon graduation from undergraduate studies as a MOE-AU Scholar, the MOE-AU Scholar is expected to apply for, obtain, and accept a PhD scholarship (under START) from the AU which the scholar is paired with. Upon graduation from postgraduate studies under START, the scholar would serve a bond of four to six years in the paired AU as an academic staff.
