This £1,500 one-year scholarship is intended for a well-rounded person who is thought to be academically gifted, motivated, ambitious, and eager to work in the gaming business.
Eligibility Criteria for the Ninja Kiwi Scholarship at Abertay University:
Applicants must:
- Be starting Year 4 of one of the above games courses at the Abertay campus in Dundee.
- Be available to take part in a paid 4-week work placement at Ninja Kiwi. Exact dates are to be confirmed, but you must be able to start at the end of May/beginning of June 2026.
- Demonstrate on the application form that you are ambitious and keen to work in the games industry.
- Able to attend a selection interview (probably in February 2026).
- If successful, to be willing to meet a Ninja Kiwi Representative and/or write a letter of thanks. Also to take part in publicity for the scholarship.
