The President's International Freshman Student Scholarship at FAU is available for Spring and Fall terms only. They are limited in number and competitive. Applicants must apply and be admitted as degree-seeking students before being considered for a scholarship. To meet scholarship criteria, students must have a high school diploma or the equivalent before the first day of class.
Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:
- Applicant must be classed as an international student.
- Applicant must be on F-1 or J-1 visa.
- Applicant must score 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 U.S. grading scale.
- Applicant's SAT or ACT scores will be considered.
- Applicant must submit a proof of English proficiency.
Application Procedure:
All eligible candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship at the time of admission.
Value of the Scholarship:
$6,000 awarded annually and renewable for up to four years for qualified freshman students on an F-1 or J-1 visa.
