Maharashtra 2024/25 Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship for VJNT & SBC Category is a program run by the Government of Maharashtra's VJNT, OBC, and SBC Welfare Department for students in Classes 11 and 12 who fall into the VJNT and SBC categories. The purpose of this program is to encourage students in VJNT/SBC to pursue higher education by offering financial aid. For 10 months, INR 300 would be given to selected students each month.
Eligibility Criteria for Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship for VJNT & SBC Category, Maharashtra 2024/25:
- Students need to be domiciled in Maharashtra.
- Students should belong to the Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) or Special Backward Class (SBC) category.
- Students must be studying in Classes 11 and 12 in Junior College.
- Students should have secured 75% and above marks in the Class 10 examination.
