The Hachette UK Scholarship 25/26
Northumbria University is pleased to announce the The Hachette UK Scholarship for students applying to study MA Publishing in September 2025. 

Eligibility criteria -

• The applicant must  be a UK/Home applicant with 'Home' fee status
• Have a permanent residence in the North East of England.  Please click here for eligible counties.
• Apply to study on MA Publishing commencing in September 2025 at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus
• Meet the terms and conditions and accept your offer
• Be a self-funded student and not have fees which are paid in full or in part through a sponsorship arrangement, i.e. employer funded

Selection process -

•  Applicants need to apply via online written application; a selection panel will consider all eligible applications.  In no more than 3000 characters, discuss the following statement; 'A Publisher should publish for all views and tastes' -  Applications will be considered on the strength of response.

Award - The successful students will receive a £2,000 cash payment on the Full-Time MA Publishing course studied at the Newcastle Upon Tyne Campus and it will be paid as: 25% in November 2025, 25% in February 2026, and 50% in May 2026

Deadline - Applications will close at 16:00 on Friday 19 September 2025.
