Vyasakabi Fakirmohan Bhasabruti Scholarship 2024

The Higher Education Department of the Government of Odisha has launched the Vyasakabi Fakirmohan Bhasabruti Scholarship 2024, which is open to general, ST, SC, OBC, SEBC, and EBC community students in the state. The program seeks to incentivize deserving individuals to pursue doctoral and undergraduate studies in Odia language education. The chosen applicants will get an INR 20,000 one-time financial award.

Eligibility Criteria for Vyasakabi Fakirmohan Bhasabruti Scholarship 2024:

• Students need to have a domicile in Odisha.
• Students must belong to the General/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Scheduled Caste (SC)/Other Backward Classes (OBC)/Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC)/Economically Backward Class (EBC) Category.
• Students should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate at the Class 12 examination and undergraduate level, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form ONLINE only.

Documents:

• Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority such as Tahasildar or Additional Tahasildar.
• Academic transcripts/mark sheets of the last qualifying examinations.
• Aadhaar-linked bank account details of the applicant.
• College/institute ID card (Note:- If unavailable, a Letter of Undertaking authenticated by the concerned educational institution specifying the academic session, course, name, duration, and the student's roll or registration number may suffice).
• Additional documents confirming enrolment in a three-year undergraduate degree in Arts with Odia (Honours).
