Türkiye Scholarships - First Class Scholarship 2024

Türkiye Scholarships is a government-funded, competitive scholarship program, awarded to outstanding students and researchers to pursue full-time or short-term programs at the top universities in Türkiye. Türkiye Scholarships aims to build a network of future leaders committed to strengthening cooperation among countries and mutual understanding among societies.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be an International Student.
• Applicants can study at the bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral levels.
• Applicants must enroll in one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey.
• Applicants must exhibit superior academic standing.
• Applicants in their first two years of college who have international credentials like the SAT or GCSE, rather than scores from local exams, must show they meet the essential academic standards for finishing high school as assessed by these global tests.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates must apply online for the scholarship along with the following documents:
  • A valid identity document, ID card, or passport
  • A photograph of the candidate taken within the last 1 year
  • National exam results (if any)
  • Diploma or temporary graduation certificate
  • Official transcripts
  • International exam results (GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc.) if required by the chosen university or program
  • International language test results such as TOEFL, and DELF if required by the chosen university or program
  • A proposal for a research topic and a written example of the research you have carried out (only for PhD applications).

• Most Turkish university programs are in Turkish, but some offer English or other languages.
• Candidates for non-Turkish programs need internationally accepted certificates like TOEFL.

• Each university specifies acceptable language certifications.
• Türkiye Scholarship recipients without a C1 Level Certificate for Turkish Proficiency, even if placed in English or other language programs, must complete a one-year Turkish Language Course and obtain the C1 Level Certificate by the end of their academic year.
