Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage
- Self-identify as Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Be recognized as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community they currently live in or have previously resided in;
- Typically be enrolled full-time at Flinders University
- Be in the second year or later of the Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice or the Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice (Honours) program
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 4.0
- Not be receiving a similar scholarship
Admission Process:
- Applicants must show a genuine interest in how technology influences the legal field, including its impact on legal practices and access to justice.
- They should also demonstrate a keen interest in pursuing a career in commercial law.
Value:
- Each Scholarship is valued at $5,000, which will be disbursed in two equal payments of $2,500 following the census date of each semester.
- One Scholarship will be awarded annually for the entire duration of the funding period.
