What is mode of payment?
Payment to be paid via cash on delivery.
Can I track or get proof of delivery for the DHL packets booked through WeMakeScholars?
Yes, you can! Post your booking, you can download the Airway bill which has the 10-digit tracking number (AWB). You can use this number to track your package on DHL website and download the electronic proof of delivery from the same link.
The pick-up person didn’t give me a receipt. What should I do?
The Airway bill you downloaded from WeMakeScholars.com post your booking is your receipt. You do not need any other receipt.
Can I send documents to World Education Services (WES) through this service?
Yes, you can! Many of the students have already used our service to send documents to WES.
How should I prepare my packet? Are there any particular instructions for that?
Yes, there are couple of things which you should keep in mind
- All the documents/smaller envelopes should be enclosed in one PACKET. Envelopes of up to A4 size are allowed.
- Your packet should not weigh more than 500 gms.
- The content of the pack should only be documents.
Kindly note :
Self-sealed envelopes may be asked to be opened by the pickup staff for security check, please co-operate on that. They will put their SECURITY CHECKED labels in front of you.
University sealed transcripts or LOR envelopes DO NOT need to be opened. If the staff insists, please report that to us.
Both the TO & FROM addresses should be written on the envelope to ensure safe delivery.
DHL staff mentioned that my location is “Out of serviceable Range” or “Remote”, what should I do now?
This happens when DHL or BlueDart doesn’t serve that area directly. There is nothing to worry about it. We’ll speak to DHL and will try to convince them to pick it up but you always have an option to walk-in to the nearest DHL or BlueDart counter and drop the packet. We can guide you on that. In few cases, DHL will charge an additional fee for a remote location.
Do I have to take the printout of the Airway Bill (AWB) and produce it during the pickup?
Yes, you HAVE to take a print out of the AWB and produce it during the pickup. If you fail to do it, the DHL pickup person may generate a new AWB number and you may not be able to track your courier online under the actual AWB generated from WeMakeScholars. Under this circumstance, WeMakeScholars is not responsible for the issue. Please contact the DHL customer care 1800111345 or 18002001345.
How do I reschedule the pick-up?
You can call DHL at 18002001345/1800111345 and provide your Airway Bill (AWB) number or reference number and ask them to reschedule the pick-up to a preferred time.
How do I cancel the shipment?
You can call DHL at 1800111345 or 18002001345 and provide your Airway Bill (AWB) number or reference number and ask them to cancel the pick-up.
Does DHL pick-up packets on Sunday?
No, they don’t. Please schedule your pick-up between Monday to Saturday.
Can I drop the packet on the nearest counter after booking from WeMakeScholars?
Yes, you can, if you wish to do this. You need to present your Airway Bill copy at the counter.
Can’t print my Airway bill. Is there any alternative?
You can inform the pick-up person to get it printed for you before he arrives. Additional 30 INR would be charged for it.
