The Arjen Ryder Memorial Scholarship has been established to encourage and assist a high-achieving undergraduate student to pursue a Bachelor of Science (Honours), or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours), with a thesis relating to sustainable agricultural practices at the UWA Albany Centre.

- Candidates applying for Arjen Ryder Memorial Undergraduate Scholarships can be of any nationality.
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent academic achievement.
- Candidates must be enrolled or be eligible to enroll full-time in an honors course leading to a Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) at the UWA Albany Centre.
- Candidates must demonstrate how their research will be of benefit to the Great Southern Region of Western Australia.
