Alumni Fund Scholarship at American University Washington 2024-25

AUWCL Alumni Fund Scholarship is provided by American University Washington College of Law to students who have decided to pursue particular courses of masters at their university.

Eligibility Criteria for AUWCL Alumni Fund Scholarship:

• Applicants must have an offer letter from the University in an eligible LLM program.
• Students must enroll in one of the following programs: 
  • LL.M. in International Legal Studies;
  • LL.M. in International Business & Trade Law;
  • LL.M. in Gender, International & Comparative Law.
• Applicants who have previous work experience have a higher probability of winning the scholarship.
• Applicants must demonstrate the potential to become leaders in their respective areas of interest or practice.

Application Process:

• The eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship.
• The candidates must submit a complete LLM application.
• They must submit the response to the following essays:
  • Describe a current regional, international, or country-specific legal problem and offer your legal solution to the problem. (max. 750 words)
  • Describe how the LL.M. program can help you prepare for a global legal career, and how you will utilize your skills as a global lawyer to contribute to WCL (max. 500 words)

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful applicants are provided 100% of the tuition fee by the American University Washington College of Law.
