This scholarship was established in 1978 thanks to a $2,000 donation made by Miss Edris Marie Blanche Marks to the University of Queensland in honour of her parents, Charles Ferdinand and Elizabeth Gray Marks.
Eligibility for Charles Ferdinand Marks and Elizabeth Gray Marks Prize:
- The candidate must have intended to conduct a research project to fulfil the requirements for the MD-MPhil or MD-PhD programs.
- The applicant must have finished the second year of the Doctor of Medicine program or later.
