Charlie Perkins Scholarship 2025

Charlie Perkins Children’s Trust for Children and Students is offering Charlie Perkins Children’s Trust Scholarships to students who are entering into graduate programs at the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge.

Eligibility for Charlie Perkins Children’s Trust Scholarships :

• Applicants must have have tertiary qualifications.
• Applicants must be enrolled in any graduate degree program offered at the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge.
• Applicants must furnish a signed document as confirmation from the Aboriginal Heritage Association, Aboriginal Corporation or Land Council of the country of their ancestors. The applicant must:​
  • be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • ​identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • ​be accepted as such by the community in which they live or have lived.

Documents Required :

• Personal statement describing;
  • why they wish to study the proposed program,
  • how they identify with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community, and
  • how their chosen course would be helpful for their community
• Curriculum Vitae;
• A high-resolution headshot;
• Official transcripts of university results;
• Confirmation through a signed statement that they belong Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent from the Aboriginal Heritage Association/Aboriginal Corporation/Land Council of the country of ancestors;
• 5 referee reports being sent directly to scholarships@aurorafoundation.com.au.

The successful candidates can avail of the following benefits:

• Full tuition fees,
• Travel costs;
• An annual stipend.
