Craig Ruddy Scholarship at Flinders University 2025

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

• Be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
• Be recognized as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community where they currently live or have lived.
• Identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
• Have had a permanent residence in the Northern Territory for at least five years.
• Be enrolled full-time at Flinders University*.
• Be enrolled in the Northern Territory Medical Program.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Show a strong commitment to improving health outcomes in the Northern Territory.

Applciation Process:

• Kindly fill out the attached Proof of Indigeneity document and submit it along with your application through the Flinders University Student System by the stated deadline.
• Be sure to read the "How to Apply" page and verify that all your personal details are current in the Student System, as this information will be used for your assessment.

Value:

• At least one scholarship will be offered each year.
• Each scholarship is worth up to $5,000 per recipient, paid in two equal installments after the census date of each semester.
• The total number of scholarships awarded will depend on the available funding.
