Creative Writing Scholarships at Transylvania University 2025

Transylvania University offers multiple scholarship programs under the Fine Arts Scholarship Program. One of the scholarships provided under the Fine Arts Scholarship Program is the Creative Writing scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria of the Creative Writing Scholarship:

• The applicant must be an incoming first-year student.
• The applicant must have been admitted to the university for the 2025-2026 academic year.
• The applicant, if chosen for another award, can avail of only any one of the scholarships.
• The applicant can be any student who wishes to continue their passion for writing throughout their academic duration.

Application Process:

• The candidates must submit a maximum of 5 pages of poetry or a maximum of 10 pages of prose writing.
• The submitted works can be in the form of fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, screenwriting, or playwriting.

Value of the Scholarship:

The scholarship value ranges from USD 3,000 to USD 5,000 annually.
