Deciphering the Role of Biomechanical Cues in Embryonic Cell Fate Decisions Using Human Pluripotent Stem Cells
1. Eligibility
- This scholarship is open to international (including EU) and UK (home) students.
- Applicants should have, or expect to have, at least an upper second-class honours degree or equivalent in biological, chemical, physical sciences, or mathematics.
- The program welcomes applicants from a broad range of disciplines, as long as they are interested in using their skills to address biological questions.

2. Application Process
- To apply, candidates must complete an Expression of Interest form by 5pm, Friday 14th March 2025.
- You can apply for up to three YBDTP projects (which can be at different universities).
3. Value/Benefits
- The studentship is fully funded for four years and includes a tax-free annual stipend of £19,237 (for the 2024/25 academic year), plus tuition fees and research costs.
- International students will need to cover additional expenses such as visa fees, NHS surcharge, and travel costs, as these are not included in the funding..
