Destination Australia Scholarship (Domestic students) 2024/25

The Destination Australia scholarship is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education. It aligns with the National Strategy for International Education 2021-2030.

Eligibility Criteria for Destination Australia Scholarship (Domestic students) 2024/25:

• Students need to be classified as domestic students.
• Students should be commencing students.
• Students are UQ alumni commencing a different program (for example, a Master’s after completing a Bachelor’s degree)
• Students should have a full offer to study an eligible program delivered entirely at the UQ Gatton campus in 2025 (you don’t need to accept your full offer by the scholarship application deadline).

Eligible courses:

• Bachelor of Agricultural Science
• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours)
• Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
• Bachelor of Wildlife Science
• Master of Agribusiness 
• Master of Agricultural Science
• Master of Animal Science 

Application Process:

Students must submit an application form and a personal statement to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the scholarship:

The students will receive AUD 15,000 per year
