Eligibility criteria for Eltham District Veterinary Services Michael Higham Memorial Scholarship:

• Applicants must be commencing their fourth year of study.
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Massey University.

Selection Criteria of Eltham District Veterinary Services Michael Higham Memorial Scholarship:

• Academic achievement
• Details of any other scholarships, awards or allowances of which the applicant is in receipt.
• Written statement on why the applicant wishes to pursue a career in large animal veterinary science. 

Value of Eltham District Veterinary Services Michael Higham Memorial Scholarship:

The value of the scholarship is $5,000, with $2,500 paid in the recipient’s 4th year and $2,500 to be paid in the final year.

Interested applicants must apply to be considered for the scholarship along with the following documents:

• Detailed CV
• A written statement on why you wish to pursue a career in large animal veterinary science
• One reference from an academic staff member in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science course.
