Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:
- Applicants holding active membership in a protestant church are given first consideration.
- Applicants must exhibit evidence of proven social commitment.
- Applicants must be citizens of a member state or accession country of the EU or other citizenship in accordance with Section 8 of the German Federal Training Assistance Act.
- Applicants without German citizenship must possess good German language skills.
- Applicants older than 35 must enclose a special application.
- At the time of application, applicants must not have advanced beyond the 3rd subject-related semester.
