PhD Studentship: Forecasting Disease Progression using Cardiovascular Digital Twins School of Computer Science

Eligibility

• Applicants must hold or expect to obtain a first or upper-second class undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Strong coding skills (particularly in Python and/or Julia) are essential, along with an interest in healthcare technology applications.
• If English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.5 overall (with no less than 6.0 in each component) is required.

Benefits/Value

• This studentship will cover standard UK home tuition fees and provide a tax-free stipend at the UK Research Council rate (currently £19,237 for 2024/25) for 3.5 years.
• Overseas students may apply but must secure additional funding or self-fund the difference between UK and overseas tuition fees.
