The scholarship is supported by an endowment established through gifts from the Palm Sunday Rally for Peace and Nuclear Disarmament, and many individual and organizational donors, in recognition of the life and achievements of Senator George Georges.
Eligibility Criteria George Georges Research Scholarship 2024:
- Students should be enrolled full-time in any undergraduate or honors program
- Students need to be enrolled in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
- Students are participating in studies or programs associated with the Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect.
Selection Criteria:
- Academic achievements and potential for scholastic success
- Active participation in extracurricular activities in social justice, peace, environmentalism, or other related issues
- The proposed course of work about the scholarship.
