Eligibility for the Hospitality Transfer Scholarship:
Applicants must:
- Be new undergraduate transfer students entering Spring 2026 only.
- Have been accepted into FIU in one of the following Hospitality Management majors:
- Beverage Management
- Cruise Line Management
- Event & Entertainment Management
- Global Sustainable Tourism
- Hospitality Leadership
- Hospitality Management (general)
- Hotel/Lodging Management
- Restaurant/Culinary Management
- Travel & Tourism Management
- Hold an A.S. or A.A. degree or have completed at least 60 transferable college credits.
- Have a minimum 2.75 GPA (as calculated by FIU Admissions).
- Be a first-time transfer student to FIU.
- Enter FIU in Spring 2026 only (awards cannot be deferred).
- Be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester for the first two awarding semesters).
- Have an aid-eligible immigration/residency status in accordance with financial aid laws.
- International students are eligible.
