This scholarship aims to support students with a supplementary stipend to a Higher Degree through a Research Program with the School of Physics in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney undertaking research with the Sydney Institute for Astronomy (SIfA). This scholarship was established with funds from the Dick Hunstead Fund.
Eligibility for the Huntstead Student Support Scholarship:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a PhD or master's by research, completing research in astronomy with the School of Physics in the Faculty of Science
- Applicants must hold an honours or master's degree in a relevant discipline and demonstrate an interest in research in astronomy

Value of the Scholarship:
The scholarship is valued at $5,000, and it will be paid as a one-off payment on receipt of the scholarship acceptance form.
