Eligibility Criteria for National Service Scholarship at Mississippi State University:
Applicants Must:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be a first or second-year cadet and meet all criteria to be "enrolled" in ROTC classes, as defined by the Army/Air Force ROTC program.
- Have a minimum ACT score of 20 or a minimum SAT score of 1200.
- Not currently be on an Army or Air Force scholarship.
- Meet the service age requirements as specified by the Army or Air Force.
- Meet the service height/weight requirements.
- Pass the Army/Air Force service Physical Fitness Test by the second semester.
- Pass the Department of Defense (DoD) medical exam by the third semester.
- The scholarship is conditional upon final approval by the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
