Newcastle University Sports Scholarships 2024

Sports Scholarships are offered by Newcastle University for undergraduate or postgraduate university students or applicants. Applicant Regional/National/International standard within the last 12 months. Students should be part of a National Governing Body Performance Squad or equivalent.

Eligibility for the Sports Scholarships:

• The candidate must be enrolled at Newcastle University as a current student in any year of study or as an undergraduate or graduate applicant with a spot.
• The candidate should be a member of the National Governing Body's (NGB) performance squads, or similar, and should have won senior or age group representative honors at the national and/or regional level during the previous 12 months.
• The applicant must pledge to progress in their sport and, if appropriate, represent the university in British Universities Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions.
• To be eligible for a scholarship, you must compete in one of the following Performance Clubs:
• American Football
• Badminton
• Basketball
• Fencing
• Football
• Golf
• Hockey
• Lacrosse
• Netball
• Rowing
• Rugby League
• Rugby Union
• Squash
• Table Tennis
• Tennis
• Volleyball
• Waterpolo

Value of the Scholarship:

The reward is up to £5,000.
