Eligibility criteria for the AUT Te Aronui Postgraduate Research Scholarships:
- Open to New Zealand Māori students.
- Applicants must be registered as New Zealand Māori ethnicity in the Arion student system.
- Applicants must have received an Offer of Place (OOP) into a postgraduate research degree program at the master's or doctoral level.
- Applicants will be undertaking research leading to a full research thesis (or practice-based research) equivalent to 90 points or above.
- Students who have already commenced studies in the eligible program may apply.
Value of the AUT Te Aronui Postgraduate Research Scholarships:
The scholarship consists of the following:
- Tuition fees (at the domestic rate) plus the compulsory student services fee
- A stipend of NZ$33,726 per annum for 2025 awards
