Noyce Program at College of Science 2025

Eligibility

• The Noyce Program is designed for students at San Jose State University (SJSU) who are interested in pursuing a career as a math teacher.
• The program is open to students with a strong interest in teaching mathematics at the K-12 level.
• To be eligible, applicants must commit to completing the necessary credentialing process to become a certified math teacher.
• Additionally, students must be willing to serve as math educators for a minimum of three years after completing their credentials.

Value/Benefit

• The Noyce Program, funded by the National Science Foundation, provides financial support of $10,000 per year for up to three years to eligible participants.
• The funding helps students focus on their studies and the credentialing process required to become math teachers.
