Western Sydney University offers a variety of research scholarships to support higher-degree research candidates. These scholarships are periodically released throughout the year and provide financial assistance to eligible applicants pursuing doctoral and master's research programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must meet the entry requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Professional Doctorate (DCA, DCR, or EdD), or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program at Western Sydney University.
- Both domestic and international students are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be able to commence their studies by the specified commencement dates.
- Full-time study is required for the duration of the scholarship.
- International applicants must be onshore in Australia at the scholarship commencement date.
- Applicants must have a valid Bond University Letter of Offer for a PhD program or a Professional Doctorate of Occupational Therapy.
- Applicants must have excellent academic records and research potential.
Value of the Scholarship :
- A tax-free stipend of $31,500 (AUD) per annum for three years.
- For domestic students, tuition fees are covered by the Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP).
- For international students, a tuition fee waiver will be awarded.
Application Process:
- Applicants must submit their applications online during the specified application period.
- Required documentation includes a research project proposal, academic transcripts, curriculum vitae (CV), prize and award certificates, and two referee reports.
