Support to Study Scholarship Package at University of Tasmania 2024

The University of Tasmania has a range of support options available so finance is not a barrier to study. Depending upon the need expressed by eligible students, packages will be made up of one or more of the following:

• Support to Succeed - A base package made up of student support services (available to all students)
• Accommodation Support (a portion of the rent paid by the University)
• Financial Support (cash paid directly to the student for living costs and relocation)
• Relocation Support (a one-off payment paid directly to the student to assist with relocation and travel expenses).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must be a domestic student as defined by the University of Tasmania (the University).
• Applicant can be an international student who studied an Australian Senior Secondary qualification onshore in Australia in the year before commencing study at the University.
• Applicant must be studying
  • Diploma, Associate degree, Bachelor degree, Bachelor degree with honors,
  • Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, and Masters courses offered by the University.
• Applicant must be studying either online or on-campus.

Value of the Scholarship:

• Selected candidates are awarded the following benefits:
  • USD 3,000 yearly for Financial Components, 
  • USD 2,000 one-off payment for the Relocation Component,
  • USD 3,000 one-off credit towards UTAS Accommodation for the Accommodation Component.
