The Franco-Thai Scholarship Program 2024

It is strongly advised that master's and doctoral candidates explore alternative funding options, including commercial sector support as well as funding from their home university or another university abroad. Academic applicants who have secured financing for their study from other sources will receive special consideration.
Certain PhD programs require a monthly salary that is greater than the monthly stipend provided by this scholarship program. To obtain additional financing, students applying to such doctorate schools must check with and work with the French laboratory or doctoral school.

Eligibility for The Franco-Thai Scholarship Program:

• The merits and abilities of the candidate as demonstrated by his or her work experience and academic background;
• The calibre of the study plan. The status of the submitted project and correspondence with the supervisors of the master's degree or thesis will also be considered
• The degree of foreign language proficiency (French or English) and its suitability for the intended curriculum; - Additional funding sources for the project;
• The candidate's strong and firm interest in continuing studies in light of his or her prior studies and professional project; The selection committee will give preference to PhD candidates whose supervisors are Thai and French, and their commitment will be the deciding factor.
