In 1983, friends of Lord Murray—the UK's University Grants Committee Chairman after serving as Dean of Lincoln College from 1944 to 1953—established the Keith Murray Graduate Scholarships in his honor and to mark his eightieth birthday. They are available to graduates who have been accepted into the University of Oxford's graduate degree program but are not from the United Kingdom.
Eligibility for The Keith Murray Graduate Scholarship:
- Applicants must be classified as overseas.
- Applicants must enroll in a graduate-taught degree in any subject.
- Applicants must already hold an offer of a place at the University of Oxford to begin a graduate taught degree program in Autumn 2025.
- Applicants who have already secured partial funding for their degree course from other funding bodies can also apply.
- Preference will be given to those applicants who have not previously studied in the UK.
