International Journalists Program (IJP) is offering travel and work fellowship for up to five young journalists from the Middle East, especially from Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, and Palestine to spend two months in Germany. We are doing this in cooperation with governmental institutions, foundations, and sponsors in Germany and the Middle East.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be from Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, Palestine or Germany.
- Applicants must be in the age range between 21 and 37.
- Applicants must be working as regular employees, trainees, or journalists for the media.
- Applicants must have a good knowledge of English.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates must submit an online application along with the following documents:
- A detailed CV with a passport photo,
- A recommendation letter written by the head of department or editor-in-chief.
Value of the Award:
- The selected candidates are awarded a sum of EUR 4,000. This sum is intended to cover a large proportion of the travel costs, board, and lodging.
