The Thelma and Carl Ulrich Scholarship

The scholarship seeks to assist students who demonstrate academic achievement and have a strong commitment to the field of education.

Eligibility Criteria - 

• Minimum GPA of 3.0: Applicants must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 to ensure they are excelling academically.
• Minimum Part-Time Enrollment:Undergraduate and credential students must be enrolled in at least 6 units per semester.
• Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 3 units per semester.
• Intent to Teach English or Art in Middle or High School:
• Applicants must plan to teach either English or Art in middle school or high school grades (grades 6-12). 

Value -

• The scholarship provides a one-time award of $1,000.00
• This financial support is designed to help cover tuition fees, books, or other educational expenses as the recipient progresses in their journey toward becoming an English or Art educator.

Application Process -

• To apply for the Thelma and Carl Ulrich Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:
  • Complete Your General Application
  • Fill out the General Application for scholarships through your school’s scholarship portal.
  • Answer Supplemental Questions
  • Respond to any relevant questions, including confirming your intent to teach English or Art at the middle or high school level.
  • Write a Thank You Note: The recipient will be required to write a thank you note to the donor to express gratitude for the scholarship and support provided.
