    An international student wishing to enroll at the University of Essex in an undergraduate or master's program from one of the eligible nations may be eligible for a scholarship worth 50% of the first year's tuition, which will be deducted at the time of registration. Thirty prizes will be given out in total, with an equal distribution going to postgraduate and undergraduate students. This scholarship is competitive and awarded based on extracurricular activities and academic accomplishments.

    Eligibility for Vice-Chancellor’s Global Talent Scholarship at the University of Essex:

    • In 2024–2025, students must be enrolled full-time in the University of Essex's Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate Taught (PGT) Master's programs
    •  The standard conditional offer must be met by applicants.
    • The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship offered by the University of Essex. The award with the higher value will be given to students who qualify for it and enroll at Essex through a link agreement, which entails a discounted tuition.
    • It is expected that selected candidates will be accessible for promotional events.
    • Pakistani and Indian applicants will only be taken into consideration if they are moving to Essex from one of the university's progression link partnerships.
