Wichita State University Freshmen Merit Scholarships are offered by Wichita State University for Freshmen commencing their undergraduate programs at the university. The value of the scholarship varies according to the type of scholarship depending on the GPA, SAT, and ACT scores.
Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:
- Applicants must be domestic, high school seniors who have completed at least 6 semesters of high school.
- Applicants must be intending to attend WSU immediately after graduating from high school.
- Applicants are evaluated based on a composite of high school GPA (unweighted) and national test scores (ACT / SAT).
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum 21 ACT / 1060 SAT in order to be considered for merit scholarships.
Application Process:
- All candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship.
Scholarship renewal:
- Maintain a minimum overall and semester GPA of 3.25.
- Enroll in and successfully earn at least 30 credit hours each academic year.
