Agid Family Scholarship Endowment at San Francisco State University 2024

The purpose of this scholarship is to honor Agid family members who have attended SF State. The family wishes to provide scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need with a preference given to students in one of the following areas: Business, Nursing, and/or Education.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants should preferably be majoring in Business, Nursing, or Education.
• Applicants must be enrolled in at least 12 units as an undergrad student or 8 units as a grad student in the Fall 2024 semester.
• Applicants must apply for financial aid using the FAFSA or the California Dream Application.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA or the California Dream Application.

Application Process:

Students need to submit a general application to be eligible for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

• Two letters of reference.
  • One must be an academic reference. 
  • The second must be from an academic or work reference.
• Motivation letter in 250-500 words describing how deserving the candidate is of the scholarship.
• A copy of the latest transcript. An unofficial transcript is acceptable.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a sum of up to USD 1,000.
