Alumni Association Dean's Scholarships at College of Health and Human Sciences 2025

Eligibility

This scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and a commitment to community service. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a full-time student at San José State University (SJSU).
• Have a strong academic record and be in good standing at SJSU.
• Actively participate in volunteer work or community service efforts that contribute to the betterment of their community.
• Undergraduate and graduate students from each of SJSU’s seven colleges are eligible to apply, with the selection being made by the deans of each college.

Application Process

• Nomination: Students are nominated by their deans for consideration.
• Only two students from each of SJSU's seven colleges are chosen annually.
• Eligibility Check: Ensure you meet the academic and community service requirements set by your college’s dean.
• Application Submission: If nominated, submit your scholarship application as instructed by your college’s dean.
• Review and Selection: After submission, the scholarship will be reviewed by a selection committee, which will choose the awardees based on academic excellence and community involvement.
