The Arthur Schmitt Leadership Scholar program co-provided by Lewis University is a leadership development program as well as a scholarship award. Students will be expected to actively participate in campus discussion groups, readings, and other leadership activities during the school year. Students will also be expected to participate in an Arthur Schmitt campus gathering that takes place in May of each year.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be undergraduate students.
- Applicants must submit an essay (500 - 1000 words) describing how the applicants decide to make a change as a leader over the next year.
- Applicants must demonstrate superior leadership qualities.
- Applicants are expected to commit themselves to participate in a leadership program.
- Applicants must also participate in an Arthur Schmitt campus gathering that takes place in May of each year.
