Eligibility:
- You must be applying for the doctoral programme for the first time.
- You must have received an unconditional offer of admission to the AUT doctoral programme.
- Your most recent qualification from a New Zealand tertiary institution must have a GPA of 8.0 or higher.
- If you are Māori or a domestic Pacific applicant, your GPA from the most recent qualification must be 7.5 or higher, and you must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- You must enrol in the doctoral programme within three months of being offered the scholarship.
Benefits:
- Each Vice-Chancellor’s Doctoral Scholarship provides a yearly allowance of $33,726, in addition to coverage for tuition fees and compulsory student services fees for a maximum of three years.
Application Process:
- You can apply for a Vice-Chancellor’s Doctoral Scholarship at any time throughout the year, except for the period between December 1st and January 15th.
