• The Basia Zaba Memorial Scholarship is offering GBP 12,940.00 to fund the full tuition fees for a home student in the 2025-26 academic year.
• This scholarship is specifically for students accepted onto the MSc Demography & Health program.

Eligibility Criteria

• Program: Applicants must be accepted into the 2025-26 MSc Demography & Health program.
• Language Proficiency: Applicants must meet the School's minimum English language proficiency requirements if shortlisted.
• Funding for Living and Travel: Applicants must have other funding to cover living and travel costs, as this scholarship covers only tuition fees.

Application Process

• The application process has two steps, both of which must be completed by the scholarship deadline of 23:59 (GMT) on Wednesday 26 March 2025.
• Step 1: Apply for the MSc Demography & Health Program
• Submit an application to study for the 2025-26 MSc Demography & Health program as per instructions on the program’s study page.
• Step 2: Apply for the Scholarship
• After submitting your application for the MSc program, you will receive an automated email from the Scholarships Team (scholarships@lshtm.ac.uk) with a link to the online scholarship portal.
• You will receive a temporary password to log in for the first time (via e-vision) and then update it.
• Search for the Basia Zaba Memorial Scholarship in the portal and complete the application form.
• Once complete, submit your application and ensure you receive a confirmation email.
• Note: Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.

Important Information

• Application Fee: A GBP 50.00 application fee is required for the MSc Demography & Health program. Applicants should ensure this payment is processed well in advance to avoid delays.
• Deadline: Both the application for study and the scholarship application must be completed by 23:59 (GMT) on Wednesday 26 March 2025.
• Incomplete Applications: Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
• Deposit Deadline: If your application for study is successful, you will be asked to pay a deposit within 28 days of receiving the offer.
• However, if you're awaiting the scholarship outcome, you must inform the Admissions Team to extend the deposit deadline.

Decision Timeline

• Notification of Outcome: Successful applicants will be notified during the week beginning 2 June 2025.
