Central Asia Undergraduate Scholarships scheme is for international students from specified countries seeking to join our university.
Eligibility for the Central Asia and Caucasus Undergraduate Scholarship:
- Applicants must be international fee payers and are entirely self-funded.
- Students must be permanent residents of either of the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan
- Beginning in October 2024–25, students must register for the University of Essex's first year (Year 1) of a full-time undergraduate degree.
- UCAS candidates need to firmly select Essex as their preference by 15th September 2024. Candidates who join Essex after being turned down by their first firm preference elsewhere are not qualified. By 15th September 2024, Direct Applicants must accept their offer.
- The grant is not transferable to another University of Essex scholarship.
- This grant is exclusively available for undergraduate students in their first year of study (Year 1) in 2024–2025.
- Selected candidates need to be accessible for advertising campaigns.
Application Process:
Eligible candidates will automatically be considered for this award. They don’t need to complete an application form. The University will assess their eligibility based on the academic transcripts and certificates they submit with their application for their place at Essex.
