Chevening Scholarship scheme at Bournemouth University 2024

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and BU provide funding for the Chevening Scholarship. The FCO supervises the application and selection process. 

Eligibility for Chevening Scholarship scheme at Bournemouth University:

• Applicants for this scholarship may be any international student enrolled full-time in BU's taught Master's program who, at the time of application, is a citizen of a nation eligible for Chevening and plans to return there upon completion of their studies.
• The candidates must have a bachelor's degree that, in the UK, is at least equal to an upper-second-class honors degree.
• The candidate must have met the minimal IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or the equivalent, to be eligible for Chevening English language requirements.
• Before applying, the candidate must have completed a minimum of two years of work experience.
