This award was created to honor exceptional students and to support them by urging them to apply to undergraduate programs in the College of Engineering, Science, and Environment (CESE) that meet their eligibility requirements.
Eligibility for the College of Engineering, Science and Environment High Achiever Scholarship:
- Applicants must enroll in a bachelor's program at the College of Engineering, Science, and Environment, University of Newcastle.
- Applicants must have a minimum non-adjusted ATAR of 95.
- Applicants must have completed a Y12 Higher School Certificate or a University of Newcastle enabling program before beginning their studies.
- Applicants must maintain full-time enrollment status throughout the scholarship duration.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
- Applicants who are previous recipients of the scholarship are ineligible.
