Durham Inspired Computer Science scholarships 2024

The Durham-Inspired Computer Science scholarship is offered due to the generous support of our donors and is specifically designed to support applicants from underrepresented backgrounds.

Eligibility Criteria for Durham Inspired Computer Science Scholarships 2024:

• Applicant must have a household income below £42,875 (as determined by Student Finance England)
• Students should be the first generation in their immediate family to attend a University
• Students need to be from a background currently underrepresented in Computer Science.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Selection Process:

• All eligible applications for the Durham Inspired Scholarship will be considered based on their statement, references, and academic status.
• Other scholarship awards may also be taken into account when considering the allocation of the scholarship.
• The University may use additional datasets to identify applicants who come from neighborhoods with low overall progression to higher education or high levels of socio-economic deprivation.

Value of the Scholarship:

1 scholarship, worth £4,000 per academic year, is available to applicants commencing their studies in October 2024.
