Durham Inspired: Computer Science Scholarships

Eligibility:

• The Durham Inspired: Computer Science Scholarships are open to undergraduate applicants for all Computer Science programs, including those studying Natural Sciences with significant Computer Science content. To be eligible, applicants must:
• Have a household income below £42,875 (as determined by Student Finance).
• Meet at least one of the following criteria:Be the first generation in your immediate family to attend university.
• Be from a background currently underrepresented in Computer Science.
• Preference will be given to applicants from the North East of England (postcode starting with DH, DL, NE, SR, or TS).
  Application Process:

To apply for the scholarship:

• Submit an academic application to Durham University through UCAS before the scholarship deadline.
• Complete the scholarship application by 15th April 2025.
• Submit a completed scholarship application form and a copy of your Student Finance letter confirming your maintenance loan amount.
• Arrange for a reference from a referee to be sent by email to scholarship.application@durham.ac.uk, ensuring the reference is on letterhead and includes the necessary details.
