Fellowship in Physical Geography is to encourage academic perseverance and promote higher education in physical geography.
Eligibility Criteria for Fellowship in Physical Geography 2024:
- Students need to work full-time or be deemed to be full-time according to Financial Aid for Studies at the master's degree with a thesis in geographical sciences during the scholarship award session.
- Students should have been admitted (1st registration session) in fall 2022 or during the calendar year 2023.
- Students should have a collaboration plan submitted and accepted by the program management.
Selection Criteria:
- Relevance of the research topic in physical geography (20%)
- Presentation of the project (25%)
- Expected results and potential impacts of the project in the research area (20%)
- Quality of French (10%)
- Excellence in the academic record (cumulative average of the current program (15%)
- Social commitment (academic, university, and community) of the candidate (10%)
