Eligibility
To qualify for the Fern Marie Bugbee Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Enrollment in a Teacher Preparation Program:
- Applicants must be enrolled in a teacher preparation program, including undergraduate, credential, or graduate-level programs.
Minimum GPA:
- A minimum GPA of 3.25 is required to apply for this scholarship.
Part-Time Enrollment:
- Applicants must be enrolled at least part-time:Undergraduate or credential students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units.
- Graduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 units.
Commitment to Incorporating Arts into Teaching:
- Preference will be given to students who have a demonstrated commitment to integrating the arts (including performing arts or visual arts) into their teaching practices.
- Additionally, the recipient of this scholarship is required to write a thank you note to the donor expressing appreciation for the award.
