Melbourne Mobility Excellence Awards at The University of Melbourne 2025

Melbourne Mobility Excellence Awards is a compilation of the following scholarships.

1. Alan Gilbert Mobility Scholarship
2. Wayne and Marion Patten Mobility Scholarship
3. Jamakepe Travelling Scholarship
4. Aitchison Travelling Scholarship

General Eligibility for the Melbourne Mobility Excellence Awards :

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must be enrolled in an bachelor's or master's program offered at the university.
• Applicants must undertake an approved overseas study of 12 weeks or more as part of the course within 12 months after the closing date.
• Applicants must have achieved a Course Weighted Average of at least 80 in their current course.

     Eligibility: Aitchison Travelling Scholarship

• • Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program.
  • Completed at least 100 credit points of study.
  • Financially disadvantaged students.

     Eligibility: Alan Gilbert Mobility Scholarship

• • Enrollment in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program.
  • Intending to undertake one or more semesters of  overseas study.
  • Demonstrate leadership capacity, community engagement and capacity to benefit from an overseas study experience

     Eligibility: Jamakepe Foundation Scholarship

• • Enrollment in a degree in Arts, Business and Economics or Law.
  • Intend to do overseas study in the USA.

     Eligibility: Wayne and Marion Patten Mobility Scholarship

• • Enrollment in a graduate degree in Business and Economics.
  • Candidates who completed bachelor's in Science are given first consideration.

Application Process :

All eligible candidates must complete and submit the online application to be considered for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship: 

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship ranging from AUD 2,500 to AUD 9,000.
